We'd like to share what we have improved in the Locator since shipping it. These improvements focus on enhancing data consistency, streamlining your workflows, and providing greater flexibility for integrations.


Data consistency and workflow improvements

To ensure a seamless user experience, we've aligned the Locator's date and time settings with the Instance's timezone and localization preferences. This change guarantees that all time-related data, like event schedules or operating hours, is consistently displayed and formatted across your platform. Additionally, we've redesigned the forms for adding and editing Locations and Categories to meet our new design standards, making them more intuitive and efficient to use.


Enhanced data integration and customization

The new Locator now offers greater flexibility for connecting to other systems. We've introduced external endpoints for both Locations and Enquiries, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your location and customer inquiry data with third-party applications. You can automatically sync new store locations to an external service or send customer inquiries directly to your CRM. We've also added more data source options to custom fields, giving you more control over the types of information you can store. Finally, you can now use system fields within the Locator, which affords you even more flexibility in handling non-standard data.


Smarter enquiries management

To give you a better way to handle your customer inquiries, we've added the capability to import and export Enquiries. This feature makes it easy to move large data sets into or out of the Locator, whether you're migrating data from a legacy system or need to analyze inquiry trends offline.
