Ecommerce Overview

Insites ecommerce offers comprehensive management of ecommerce activities within your application. It controls various aspects, including product variants, categories, inventory, and pricing. Additionally, the module facilitates handling tasks such as tax invoices, picking slips, and package labels. Furthermore, the module enhances flexibility by providing the capability to use custom fields within the Instance.

The Ecommerce module is the backend for a shop. It stores your products, categories, carts, quotes, orders and payments, and gives you admin screens to manage them. It does not include a storefront or a checkout. Each project builds its own. The official starting points are the Insites Website and Portal template and the Ecommerce add-on, which adds a catalog, cart, checkout and order history.
