Organising Instances with Folders

Users can organise multiple Instances into folders, enabling them to group related Instances for better organisation. For example, a large company with multiple departments can group Instances according to the department they are used for. Another example would be a software development agency working on multiple client projects. The agency can group Instances into Folders assigned to its respective clients for a more efficient workflow. Creating a Folder

To create a folder:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Select ADD FOLDER button near the top right portion of the page.
3. Fill out the form. See the table below for information about input requirements and descriptions.
4. Select SAVE.

Moving an Instance across Folders

To move an Instance to another folder:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Go to the folder containing the Instance you want to move.
3. Switch to 'Grid View' .
4. Find the Instance you want to move and select 'Move to Folder' .
5. Select the Folder you want to move your Instance to on the 'Move Instance to Folder' modal.
6. Select MOVE INSTANCE.

Updating a Folder

To edit a folder:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the folder you want to update and select 'Edit Folder' . You may also open a folder and select EDIT FOLDER.
3. Make your changes to your folder using the forms on the following tabs:
   • General
   • Instances
   The details for each tab are discussed in its corresponding section in this article.
4. Select SAVE.

General Settings

Use this tab to update the following information about your folder:

• Folder Name
• Tags
• Thumbnail

Folder Instances

This tab displays all the Instances belonging to the folder. You can also add an Instance to the folder by selecting ADD INSTANCES and choosing your target Instances on the modal. Additionally, you may select 'Actions' to perform the following on each of the Instances in the folder:

• Edit Instance
• Log into Instance Admin
• View Instance
• Remove Instance from Folder

Removing an Instance from a Folder

To remove an Instance from a folder:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Go to the folder from which you want to remove the Instance.
3. Switch to 'List View' .
4. Select 'Actions' .
5. Select Remove Instance from Folder.
6. Finalise the removal of the Instance from the folder on the confirmation modal

Deleting a Folder

To delete a folder:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the folder you want to delete and select 'Edit' . You can also open a folder and select EDIT FOLDER.
3. Select DELETE FOLDER.
4. Finalise folder deletion on the confirmation modal.
