AI Studio Overview

AI Studio is a web-based AI assistant built into the Insites Instance Admin (IIA). It connects to your instance using Google Gemini, enabling you to manage your data through natural conversation rather than navigating menus and forms.

What AI Studio Can Do

• CRM operations - Search, create, and update contacts and companies using natural language
• Data queries - Ask questions about your instance data and get instant answers
• Workflow assistance - Perform multi-step operations through a single conversation

How It Works

AI Studio runs directly in the Instance Admin. When you open AI Studio, you get a chat interface where you can describe what you want to do in plain language. The assistant interprets your request, calls the appropriate Insites APIs, and returns the result in the conversation.

AI Studio uses the same MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard as CloudShell and the MCP Server, but runs in the browser rather than a desktop application.

Getting Started

AI Studio is available in the Instance Admin for instances with the AI module installed. Look for the AI Studio option in your instance navigation.
