Creating an SMS

To create an SMS:

  1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
  2. Select SMS.
  3. Select CREATE SMS.

  4. Fill out the forms across the following tabs:

    • Details
    • Content
    • Preview

    The details for each tab are discussed in this document's subsequent sections.

  5. Select CREATE SMS.

Details

Use this tab to input basic details about your SMS. Input requirements and descriptions are displayed in the table below:

Input LabelTypeRequiredDescription
SMS Name Input Field Yes Name or label for the SMS.
To Input Field Yes The contact to whom the SMS is sent.
File Path File Explorer Yes File path of the SMS. Choose SELECT FOLDER to navigate to the directory where you want to store your SMS.
Delay Input Field No The notification delay in minutes. Use Liquid markup to set the value, e.g., schedule an SMS for 10 AM the next day:
Locale Input Field No Liquid markup, which evaluates to the desired language code. Used for translations and date format.
Trigger Condition Code Editor No Liquid markup condition to control whether a notification is sent. Only allows delivery. If omitted, the notification is sent unless the SMS is disabled. The is checked after the delay.

Use this tab to provide your SMS content. Input requirements and descriptions are displayed in the table below:

Preview

Use this tab to provide information for your SMS preview. Input requirements and descriptions are displayed in the table below:
