Managing Collections

This document guides you through the following aspects of managing your collections on your Instance:

• Updating a collection
• Viewing a collection
• Duplicating a collection
• Dynamic content
• Deleting a collection

Updating a collection

To update a collection:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Find the collection you want to update and select its Edit row action link.
4. Make your changes.
5. Select SAVE.

Viewing a collection

To view a collection:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Find the collection you want to preview on the front end and select its Edit row action link.
4. Select VIEW PAGE.

Duplicating a collection

To duplicate a collection:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Find the collection you want to duplicate and select its Edit row action link.
4. Select DUPLICATE.

Dynamic content

You can use dynamic content on your collection's details layout to customize or personalize the appearance of your collection for your users.

To use dynamic content on your collection's details layout:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Find the collection you want to use dynamic content on and select its Edit row action link.
4. Navigate to the 'Details Layout' tab.
5. Enable details layout.
6. Copy the database field(s) whose dynamic content you want to use from the toolbox.
7. Paste the dynamic content onto any of the fields in the secondary tabs.

Deleting a collection

This section discusses the two ways you can use to delete collections:

• Deleting a single collection
• Deleting multiple collections

Deleting a single collection

To delete a collection:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Find the collection you want to delete and select its Delete row action link.
4. Finalize deleting the collection using the confirmation modal.

Deleting multiple collections

To delete multiple collections:

1. Navigate to the CMS from the main menu.
2. Select Collections.
3. Select the collections you want to delete using their checkboxes. Ticking the topmost checkbox selects all collections.
4. Confirm that the 'Delete' option is selected in the bulk-actions dropdown button.
5. Select APPLY.
6. Finalize deleting the collections using the confirmation modal.
