Creating a Profile

Follow the steps below to create a profile.

  1. Navigate to Permissions from the main menu.
  2. Select Profiles.
  3. Select CREATE PROFILE.
  4. Fill out all the forms in the following tabs:
    • Details
    • Fields
    The input description details for each tab are outlined in the following two sections of this article.
  5. Select CREATE PROFILE.

Details

This tab contains the fields outlined in the table below:

File PathFolder pickerNoWhere the profile file is saved. It fills in from the Profile Name. Select Select Folder only to save it in a different folder.
Important

When referencing a profile in your code, use its profile path exactly as it appears in the 'Profile Path' field.

Fields

Use this tab to add a field to a profile. Select ADD FIELD and fill out the following input fields:

Type of field. Options are:

  • Array
  • Boolean

  • Data Source (Multiple)
  • Geo JSON
  • Float
  • Integer
  • Media
  • String
  • Time
UI Element Dropdown Field Yes UI Element used by the field. Please refer to Field Types and UI Elements for more details.

Select SAVE FIELD when you are done creating your field. Each profile can have multiple custom fields, such as String, Integer, Float, and DateTime.
