Event System Fields

System fields are fields whose pre-defined options are values a user can modify. The system fields can be used to collect or store data that is not included or pre-defined in the default fields. Currently, these are the system fields in Events:

• Event Category
• Event Industry
• Venue Type

In addition, users have access to seven additional system fields that they can configure according to their specific needs.

Configuring a customizable system fields

A customizable system field is a system field whose title you can update to meet a specific requirement. To configure a customizable system field:

1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
2. Select System Fields.
3. Select the system field you want to configure by navigating to its corresponding tab.
4. Select CONFIGURATION.
5. Make your changes.
6. Select SAVE.

Adding a system field item

To add a system field item:

1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
2. Select System Fields.
3. Select the system field you want to add an item to by navigating to its corresponding tab.
4. Select ADD ITEM.
5. Fill out the form for adding a system field item.
6. Select ADD ITEM.

Updating a system field item

To update a system field item:

1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
2. Select System Fields.
3. Select the system field whose system field item you want to update by navigating to its corresponding tab.
4. Find the system field item you want to update and select its Edit row action link.
5. Make your changes.
6. Select SAVE.

Deleting a system field item

To delete a system field item:

1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
2. Select System Fields.
3. Select the system field whose system field item you want to delete by navigating to its corresponding tab.
4. Find the system field item you want to delete and select its Delete row action link.
5. Finalize the deletion of the system field item using the confirmation modal.
