Instance Configuration

The Instance Configuration settings allow you to configure user session timeout and indicate test email recipients for a staging Instance. In addition, you can enable SMS and API notifications.

To modify your Instance's configuration settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Instance Configuration.
  3. From here, you can modify the following configuration settings:
    • User Session Timeout
    • Email Notifications
    • API Notifications

The next sections explain how to modify each setting.

User Session Timeout

This setting is a security feature that allows you to log out a user from an Instance after a specified time of inactivity. To change your User Session Timeout settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Instance Configuration.
  3. Click on the EDIT link for 'User Session Timeout.'
  4. Indicate your preferred timeout value (Minutes).
  5. Click SAVE.

Email Notifications (Staging Instances Only)

This configuration allows you to specify the email addresses the Instance will send emails. To change your Email Notification settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Instance Configuration.
  3. Click on the EDIT link for 'Email Notifications.'
  4. Enter your email recipients on the form. You can press () to add more recipients.
  5. Click SAVE.

API Notifications (Staging Instances Only)

This setting allows you to suppress API notifications on your Staging Instance. To change your API Notification settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Instance Configuration.
  3. Click on the EDIT link for 'API Notifications.'
  4. Use the toggle to turn API Notifications on or off. The default value is OFF.
  5. Click SAVE.
