reCAPTCHA Integration

Google reCAPTCHA helps stop bots and other automated attacks while approving valid users. For example, you can use reCAPTCHA on your client-facing forms and provide your web application with an extra layer of protection.

Note

Note that you can only use one reCAPTCHA version at a time. Enabling reCAPTCHA v2 will disable reCAPTCHA v3 and vice versa.

To integrate reCAPTCHA on your Instance:

  1. Create your Google reCAPTCHA Keys.
  2. Navigate to Integrations from the main menu.
  3. Select reCAPTCHA.
  4. Choose the reCAPTCHA version you want to use and click on its EDIT link. You can choose one from the following choices:

    • reCAPTCHA v2
    • reCAPTCHA v3
  5. Once you have generated your keys, input them into the fields described in the table after this step-by-step guide
  6. Click SAVE when done.

These are the input requirements and descriptions for integrating reCAPTCHA with an Instance:

Field Required Description
Enable reCAPTCHAYesEnables reCAPTCHA for use on your Instance.
Site Key Yes Used to invoke reCAPTCHA service on your site or mobile application.
Secret Key Yes Authorises communication between your application backend and the reCAPTCHA server to verify the user's response. Needs to be kept safe for security purposes.
