Twilio Integration

Twilio is the world's leading customer engagement platform, allowing you to connect with your customers globally through SMS, voice, video, and email APIs. Integrating Twilio with your Instance transforms your system into a dynamic communication hub, enabling you to build seamless, real-time engagement workflows such as sending instant two-factor authentication codes via SMS, routing customer support calls, or deploying large-scale notifications. This integration allows you to easily scale your reach and manage compliance across multiple communication channels from one powerful, unified platform.

Prerequisites

To be able to integrate Twilio with your Instance, you need to obtain three key pieces of information from your Twilio Console:

  • Account SID: Your unique ID for your Twilio account.
  • Auth Token: Your secret token used for authentication (like a password). Keep this secure.
  • Twilio Phone Number: The specific phone number you purchased from Twilio that your Instance will use to send SMS messages or make calls.

Steps

To integrate your Instance with Twilio:

  1. Navigate to Integrations from the main menu.
  2. Select Twilio.
  3. Select CONNECT TWILIO ACCOUNT.
  4. Fill out the form that appears
  5. Select CONNECT ACCOUNT.

These are the input requirements for integrating your Instance with Twilio:

Input Label Type Required Description
SID Input Field Yes The unique ID for your Twilio account.
Auth Token Input Field Yes The secret token used for authentication. Please keep this secure.
From Input Field Yes The phone number purchased from Twilio that your Instance uses to send SMS messages or make calls.
