Viewing an Administrator

To view an Administrator's details:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator whose details you want to view and click on their View row action link.

Filtering Administrators by Status

You can filter Administrators based on their status on the Instance. You may use the following filter values:

  • Active: Administrators who currently enjoy full privileges on the Instance.
  • Invited: Users who are yet to accept the invitation to become an Administrator in the Instance.
  • Disabled: Administrators whose privileges and access to the Instance have been suspended.

To use the filter:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Use the filter near the top of the page to toggle to your desired value.

Adding an Administrator

You can add as many Administrators to your Instance as desired. To add an Administrator:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Select ADD ADMINISTRATOR.
  4. Fill out the fields on the form.
  5. Select SAVE.

After executing the above steps, the system sends an email invitation to the user, asking them to create an account and set a password. The input descriptions for adding an Administrator are outlined in the table below:

Resending an Invitation

You may also resend an Invitation to a User. To do so:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Use the filter near the top of the page and select Invited to see the list of users that have been invited to be Administrators in the Instance.
  4. Find the user to whom you want to resend an invitation and click on their Resend Invitation row action link.

Updating an Administrator

Edit an Administrator's details with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator whose details you want to edit and click on their View row action link.
  4. Click on the EDIT link.
  5. Make your changes on the form.
  6. Click SAVE to finalise your changes.

Sending a Reset Password Link to an Administrator

You can send a 'Reset Password' link via email to an Administrator who forgot their password or whose password security has been compromised. To send a 'Reset Password' link:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator who needs to have their password updated and click their Reset Password row action link.
  4. Click SEND EMAIL to send the 'Reset Password' email to the Administrator.

Disabling an Administrator

You can temporarily disable an Administrator and block their privileges on the Instance. To disable an Administrator:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator you want to disable and click on their Disable row action link.
  4. Click DISABLE ADMINISTRATOR on the confirmation modal.
Note

You may also disable an Administrator using the View row action link:


  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator that you want to delete from the Instance and click on their View row action link.
  4. Click DISABLE.
  5. Click DISABLE USER to finalise your action.

Deleting an Administrator

Deleting an Administrator removes their privileges from the Instance. To delete an Administrator:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator you want to delete from the Instance and click on their Delete row action link.
  4. Fill out the fields on the confirmation modal.
  5. Select DELETE ADMINISTRATOR to confirm the deletion.
Note

You may also delete an Administrator using the View row action link:


  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Find the Administrator that you want to delete from the Instance and click on their View row action link.
  4. Click DELETE.
  5. Fill out the field on the confirmation modal.
  6. Click DELETE ADMINISTRATOR to confirm the deletion.

Restoring an Administrator

You may restore Administrators who have been previously disabled in the Instance. To restore an Administrator:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Use the filter near the top of the page and select Disabled to see the list of Administrators that have been disabled in the Instance.
  4. Find the Administrator you want to restore and click on their Enable row action link.
  5. Select ENABLE ADMINISTRATOR on the confirmation modal.
Note

You may also restore an Administrator using the View row action link:


  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Use the filter near the top of the page and select Disabled to see the list of Administrators that have been disabled in the Instance.
  4. Find the Administrator you want to restore and click on their View row action link.
  5. Click ENABLE.
  6. Select ENABLE ADMINISTRATOR on the confirmation modal.

Bulk Actions

You can perform bulk actions on Administrators using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select Administrators.
  3. Tick the checkboxes of the Administrators that you want to apply changes to. You may also tick the topmost checkbox to select all Administrators.
  4. Select Bulk Actions and choose from the following available actions:
    • Disable
    • Delete
  5. Click APPLY.
  6. Confirm your action by fulfilling the required steps on the confirmation modal.
