Managing Event Tickets

Insites provides a robust, integrated platform for managing the entire lifecycle of event tickets directly within your Instance. This capability allows you to seamlessly handle tasks ranging from bulk group ticket creation and pricing to the assignment of individual tickets with unique details like seating, attendee contact information, and QR codes. By centralizing ticket management, Insites eliminates data silos and ensures that all event and customer data remains cohesive and actionable for both sales tracking and on-site event logistics.

Managing individual tickets

Updating an individual ticket

To update an individual ticket:

  1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
  2. Select Tickets.
  3. Find the ticket you want to update, then select its Edit row action link.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Select SAVE.

Deleting an individual ticket

To delete an individual ticket:

  1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
  2. Select Tickets.
  3. Find the ticket you want to delete, then select its Delete row action link.
  4. Finalize the ticket deletion using the confirmation modal.

Updating group tickets

To update a group ticket:

  1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
  2. Select Tickets.
  3. Find the group ticket you want to update, then select its Edit Group row action link.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Select SAVE.

Deleting group ticket

Important

Be careful. Deleting a group ticket also deletes all the tickets related to the group.

To delete a group ticket:

  1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
  2. Select Tickets.
  3. Find the group ticket you want to delete, then select its Delete Group row action link.
  4. Finalize the group ticket deletion using the confirmation modal.

Exporting tickets

To export tickets:

  1. Navigate to Events from the main menu.
  2. Select Tickets.
  3. Select the overflow menu (), then select Export Tickets
  4. Use the 'Export Ticket' form that appears to customize your export settings.
  5. Select EXPORT TICKETS.

The form for customizing export settings includes the following fields and sections:

Sort By Dropdown Field No Parameter used to sort tickets. Options include:

  • Last Updated
  • Ticket Number
Order Dropdown Field No Order of exported tickets. Options include:

  • ASC
  • DESC

Filters

You can use filters to further refine your export settings

Apply Filters Toggle No Enables you to apply search filters to further refine your list of tickets for exporting.
Search By Dropdown Field No Search parameters for your tickets. Options include:

  • Ticket Number
  • Group ID
  • Reference Code
  • Attendee First Name
  • Attendee Email
  • Attendee Job Title
  • Attendee Company Name
  • Attendee Company Email
  • Ecommerce Order Number
  • Designation
  • Allocation Status
  • Confirmation Status
  • Attended
