Managing Instances

Logging into an Instance Admin

Logging into the Instance Admin (IIA) of an Instance enables you to manage or make changes to the web application. Follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the Instance you want to log into on the main 'Instances' page or inside a folder.
3. Open the instance’s menu and select Login to instance admin, or open the instance and select Login to admin. The Console signs you in to the instance admin automatically. You need the Editor role or above.

Viewing an Instance

View your Instance by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the Instance you want to log into on the main 'Instances' page or inside a folder.
3. Open the instance’s menu and select Visit site.

Updating an Instance

To update an Instance:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the Instance you want to update into on the main 'Instances' page or inside a folder.
3. Select the instance to open it.

Deleting an Instance

To delete an Instance:

1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
2. Find the Instance you want to delete on the main 'Instances' page or inside a folder.
3. Open the instance’s menu and select Delete instance. Deleting a staging instance needs Editor or above; deleting a production instance needs Admin or above.
4. Type the instance name and select Delete instance in the dialog to confirm. A deleted instance is listed under Recently deleted for 30 days and then removed for good. It cannot be restored.
