Instance Settings Introduction

Last updated on October 11, 2026

Each instance has its own page in the Console. From it you can change the instance's name, URL, tags and thumbnail, manage its domains and modules, see what is installed on it, and check its usage and recent activity. Developers and above also see the CLI Commands and Logs tabs.

To open an instance's page:

  1. Navigate to Instances from the main menu.
  2. Find the instance on the main Instances page or inside a folder.
  3. Select the instance to open it.

Instance Tabs

The instance page has these tabs:

TabWhat It ShowsLearn More
Overview A quick view of usage, the Recent Activity card, the instance details and its domains. To change the name, URL, tags or thumbnail, select Edit on the About card. General, Instance History
Domains The addresses the instance answers on, connecting your own domain on a production instance, and the Email Senders card. Domains
Modules The modules on the instance, their versions and changelogs. Modules
Marketplace Items The applications and add-ons installed on the instance. Marketplace
CLI Commands Insites CLI commands for this instance, and on some instances an Access Token card. Developer role or above. Instance Access Tokens
Usage Six usage charts, each with its own date range. Metrics
Logs Developer role or above. This tab has no content yet.

If you do not have the Developer role or above, the CLI Commands and Logs tabs are not shown.

Banners at the Top of the Page

A banner shows above the tabs while something about the instance needs your attention. Banners stay until the state they describe is over. More than one can show at a time. For example:

  • The default domain is not reaching the instance. The instance still works at its system domain. See Instance Domains.
  • A module version change you started is running.
  • A production instance is over its plan allowance. Select View usage to open the Usage tab. See Metrics.
  • The instance is in maintenance mode.
