Deleting a Database

Deleting a database erases all the data and information stored within it, making it irrecoverable. You can delete a database to clear obsolete data or to free up storage space.

Important

Deleting a database and its database Item(s) is irreversible. Back up your data as needed.

Deleting a database on the 'Databases' list page

To delete a database on the 'Databases' list page, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Data from the main menu.
  2. Select Databases.
  3. Find the database you want to delete and select its Delete row action link.
  4. Finalize the deletion of the database using the confirmation modal.

Deleting a Database on its 'Items' page

Note

If the database is empty, you cannot use this method.

To delete a database on its 'Items' page:

  1. Navigate to Data from the main menu.
  2. Select Databases.
  3. Find the Database you want to delete and select its Items row action link.
  4. Select the overflow menu () then select Delete Database.
  5. Finalize the deletion of the database using the confirmation modal.
