Deleting a Database

Deleting a Database erases all the data and information stored within it, making it irrecoverable. You can delete a Database to clear obsolete data or to free up storage space.

Important

Deleting a Database and its Database Item(s) results in an irreversible hard deletion. Back up your data as needed.

Deleting a Database on the 'All Databases' list page

To delete a database on the 'All Databases' list page, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Databases from the main menu.
  2. Select All Databases.
  3. Find the Database that you want to delete and select its Delete row action link.
  4. Fill out the field in the confirmation modal.
  5. Press DELETE DATABASE to confirm the deletion.

Deleting a Database on its 'Items' page

Note

If the Database is empty, you cannot use this method.

To delete a Database on its 'Items' page, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Databases from the main menu.
  2. Select All Databases.
  3. Find the Database that you want to delete and select its Items row action link.
  4. Click on the ACTIONS dropdown button.
  5. Select Delete Database.
  6. Fill out the field in the confirmation modal.
  7. Press DELETE DATABASE to confirm the deletion.
