Important

Use dynamic content in your automated emails to maximize the autoresponder and workflow email features. Please refer to the next section to learn more.

Dynamic Content

Using dynamic content greatly enhances personalization, leading to a much better overall user experience and customer satisfaction.

For the sake of an example, let's compare two confirmation emails sent to a user inquiring about a product:

With dynamic content:

'Hi, we've received your inquiry for the product and one of our team members will be in touch shortly.'

Without dynamic content:

'Hi, , we've received your inquiry for the and one of our team members will be in touch shortly.'

Note the need for more personalization and detail about the product in the first example. Now compare it with the second, where the user's name was mentioned, along with details of the product they were inquiring about.

To create dynamic, personalized autoresponder and workflow emails on Insites, you may utilize the Toolbox on the right-hand side of the page when you open the 'Email Notifications' tab. The Toolbox lists all the fields from the database and makes them available as dynamic variables in your emails. The steps for using dynamic content on your autoresponder and workflow emails are as follows:

  1. Navigate to the 'Email Notifications' tab.
  2. Enable Autoresponder or Workflow emails.
  3. On the Toolbox, find the field you want to use and click the field to copy it to your clipboard.
  4. Paste the field in the desired location, noting you can use it in the subject or body content of the email.
