Data Source (Multiple)

The 'Data Source (Multiple)' field type allows users to select multiple values for a given field. For example, if the related table has a column for storing 'colors,' users can pick multiple values (Red, Green, Blue) as opposed to being mandated to stick with one value. The field has a single UI element option called 'Select (Multiple).'

The system displays the following conditional fields when you select the 'Select (Multiple)' UI element:

The field (column) from the 'Data Source' database whose values are displayed on the Instance.

The display field provides the flexibility to show any related data, not just the foreign key, in the 'Data Source' field. For example, link via but display the user's name.

Mandatory Toggle No Allows you to specify whether a user must provide an input or if the field can be optional.

In addition, the system displays the following form input requirements in the 'Select (Multiple)' UI element's 'Appearance' tab:
