Data Source (Multiple)

Last updated on February 17, 2026.

The 'Data Source (Multiple)' field type allows users to select multiple values for a given field. For example, if the related table has a column for storing 'colors,' users can pick multiple values (Red, Green, Blue) instead of selecting one.

When this field type is selected, the system provides the following UI element options:

  • Search (Multiple)
  • Select (Multiple)

The following conditional fields are displayed for either of these UI elements:

Input LabelTypeRequiredDescription
Data Source Dropdown Field Yes Select the target databases that will populate this field's options. This establishes a relational link between the current database and the selected source.
Display Field Dropdown Field Yes

This field only appears when a value is selected in the 'Data Source' field.

Mandatory Toggle No When enabled, a selection must be made to save the record. If disabled, the field can remain unassigned.
