Inviting a User to the Console

To invite a user to the Console:

  1. Navigate to People from the main menu.
  2. Select Invite people.
  3. Fill out the form.
  4. Select Send invites.

The form has two fields:

Accepting an Invitation

A Console account user gets their invitation through email. Users may accept an invitation using the following steps:

  1. Open the Console invitation email in your inbox.
  2. Select the link in the email or paste the invitation link into a web browser.
  3. Sign in with your Insites account, or create one if you do not have one yet. Your access is held for you until you sign in.

If the Invitation Link Does Not Work

An invitation link stops working when it has expired, has already been used, or is not valid. When this happens, the Console shows this message:

This invitation has expired or is no longer valid. Ask the person who invited you for a new one.

Where you see it depends on whether you already belong to a Console account:

  • If you do not belong to any account yet, the Console signs you out and shows the message on the sign-in page.
  • If you already belong to an account, you stay signed in and the message shows on your Dashboard.

In both cases, ask the person who invited you to send a new invitation.
