Connect an integration
Last updated 4 November 2026
Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, Stripe, Twilio and your instance API key.
Integrations connect your instance to other services. Most need only a key from the other service pasted into the admin, and the feature switches on across the site and the admin. This guide connects one and shows where your own instance API key lives, for the services that need to call Insites. You need to be an administrator of the instance.
What is on the Integrations menu
| Integration | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Google Maps | Maps of your companies and contacts in the CRM, and address lookup and maps on your site. |
| reCAPTCHA | Spam protection on your forms. |
| Stripe | Card payments on your site. |
| Twilio | Text messages sent from your instance. |
| SendGrid | The email service behind your notifications and email logs. |
| Git Repository and Version Control | Deploy your site's code from a repository; mostly for developers. |
| Instance API Key, Event Stream API Key, API Keys | Keys that let other systems and scripts talk to your instance. |
Connect Google Maps
- Create a Google Cloud account and generate a Maps API key there.
- In the admin, go to Integrations > Google Maps, paste the key and save.
Maps of companies and contacts appear in the CRM, and your site can show maps and fill in addresses. reCAPTCHA, Stripe and Twilio follow the same pattern: get the keys from the service, paste them under Integrations, save. The details for each are in Google Maps, reCAPTCHA and Twilio.
Find your instance API key
Other systems that call Insites, and developers writing scripts, authenticate with your instance's API key. Go to Integrations > Instance API Key to see it. Regenerate API Key makes a new one and stops the old one at once, so anything still using the old key stops working until it is updated. Treat the key like a password.
