Uploading and Downloading Assets

This guide covers uploading files to your instance and downloading them when needed.

Uploading Files

Upload files directly to your instance to keep your web application independent from external sources. Files are stored securely and served via a CDN for fast delivery.

To upload files:

1. Navigate to Assets > All Assets
2. Select the folder where you want to upload your files
3. Click the Upload button in the toolbar
4. Click the upload area to open your file browser, or drag and drop files into the area
5. Select the files you want to upload
6. Click UPLOAD to start the upload

Upload Limits

• You can upload up to 100 files at a time
• Each file can be up to 100MB in size

Duplicate File Detection

When you upload a file with the same name as an existing file in the folder, you will be prompted to choose:

• Overwrite - Replace the existing file with the new version
• Remove - Remove the duplicate from the upload list and keep the existing file

Archived File Detection

If you upload a file with the same name as an archived file, you will be offered the option to restore the archived file and overwrite it with the new version.

Downloading Files

To download a file from your instance:

1. Navigate to Assets > All Assets
2. Browse to the folder containing the file you want to download
3. Select the file
4. Click the Download button in the toolbar

The file will open in a new browser tab, where you can save it to your device.

Supported Image Formats

The following image formats will display a preview in the file detail panel when selected:

• PNG
• JPG / JPEG
• GIF
• SVG
• TIFF
• BMP
• WEBP

All other file types (documents, audio, video, etc.) can be uploaded and managed but will display a generic file icon instead of a preview.
