Uploading and Downloading Assets

Use this article as a guide to carry out the following activities:
- Adding Assets
- Organizing Assets
- Downloading Assets
Adding Assets
Take full control of your web application by using Assets uploaded directly to your Instance. This capability eliminates your dependence on external sources and gives your application stability when these external sources are updated, deleted, or moved to a different online address. To upload Assets:
- Select Assets on the main menu.
- Choose All Assets.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to upload your file.
- Click on the 'Upload' icon () on the Assets menu.
- Select the clickable upload field. This action opens your local machine's file explorer.
- Choose the file(s) to upload and press the UPLOAD button to proceed.
Note
Take note of the following:
- If an existing file is detected, you are prompted to proceed and overwrite the file or remove the file(s) on the list.
- You can upload up to 100 files at a maximum size of 100MB per file.
Organizing Assets
You may organise your assets by grouping them into folders. In addition, you may add assets to a folder by navigating to an existing folder and using the 'upload' functionality. To create a folder:
- Select Assets on the main menu.
- Choose All Assets.
- Navigate to the directory where you want to create a folder.
- Click on the 'Add Folder' menu item () on the Assets menu.
- Input the name of your folder on the 'Add Folder' modal that appears.
- Select ADD FOLDER.

Note that the following characters are prohibited in naming a folder:
Downloading Assets
You may download Assets to your local machine. To download Assets:
- Select Assets on the main menu.
- Choose All Assets.
- Navigate to the directory containing the Asset you want to download.
- Select the Asset you want to download.
- Click on the 'Download' menu item (). This action downloads the selected file into your local machine.
