Instances Overview

An Instance is a virtual server that stores data and runs your application code. When users visit your application, the pages they see and interact with are hosted on an Instance. A typical Instance will include:

• HTML, CSS and Javascript files
• Images, video and audio files
• Application data such as user profiles and custom data models
• Business rules and application logic

To create your application, you can start from a template when you create the instance. You can also start from scratch and deploy your code with an AI assistant through Insites CloudShell, or with the Insites CLI.
