Pipeline Board View

Last updated on June 17, 2026.

The board view shows your pipeline as a set of columns, one per stage, with each opportunity as a card you can move between stages. It is the quickest way to see where every opportunity sits and what needs attention next.

Switching to the board view

Open a pipeline from Pipelines > Opportunities and choose the board view using the view toggle at the top of the page. Each stage in your pipeline appears as a column, in the order your stages are configured.

Reading the board

Every column is a pipeline stage. The column heading shows the stage name, the number of opportunities in that stage, and the combined value of those opportunities.

Each opportunity appears as a card. A card always shows the opportunity name, and can also show the target conversion date, the owner, the value, a follow-up task indicator, and any additional fields you have chosen to display.

Use the menu on each card to View Details, Move to Stage, View Activities, View Tasks, or Delete the opportunity.

Choosing what appears on a card

What shows on the cards is configurable per pipeline, not fixed. In Pipelines > Configuration, open the Display Fields tab to choose which opportunity fields appear on the board cards. There are many fields available, and each one has its own on/off toggle.

  • Toggle a field on to show it on every card in that pipeline, and off to hide it.
  • Drag the fields into the order you want them to appear on the card.
  • Some fields cannot be shown on the board, so they are not available to toggle on.
  • Each pipeline has its own display field settings, so different pipelines can show different information.

If a card is not showing a field you expect, check the Display Fields tab for that pipeline and make sure the field is toggled on.

Moving opportunities between stages

Drag a card from one column to another to move that opportunity to a new stage. The stage updates automatically, and the column totals recalculate.

Task indicators and what the colours mean

When an opportunity has a follow-up task, its card shows a task icon. The colour of that icon tells you the status of the opportunity's next task at a glance. The colour is based on the due date of the next task (the task with the earliest due date) compared with today.

ColourMeaningWhen it shows
GreyDue in the futureThe next task is due on a later date. A task with no due date set also shows grey.
BlueDue todayThe next task is due today.
RedOverdueThe next task's due date has passed and it still needs actioning.

When no icon appears

If a card shows no task icon, the opportunity has no follow-up task attached. Add a task to the opportunity (from the card menu, choose View Tasks) so it appears on the board and you can track the next action.

Keeping the colours accurate

The indicator always reflects the opportunity's next task by due date. Once you have actioned a follow-up, update or remove that task, or add the next one, so the colour continues to reflect what genuinely needs attention. An opportunity with several tasks always shows the colour of the one due soonest.

Tip: Scan each stage for red first. Red icons are overdue follow-ups and usually need attention before anything else. Blue icons are due today, and grey icons are scheduled for later.
