The following UI elements are available for the 'Decimal' field type:

  • Decimal
  • Stepper

The system displays the following conditional fields for both of these UI elements:

Mandatory Toggle No When enabled, a selection must be made to save the record. If disabled, the field can remain unassigned.

In addition, the contents of the 'Appearance' tab for each UI element under the 'Decimal' field type are detailed in the succeeding sections.

Decimal

The input requirements for the 'Decimal' UI element's form in the 'Appearance' tab are as follows:

Show in table view Toggle No Determines whether the data in this field is displayed as a column in the Instance Admin index.
Sortable in table view Toggle No Enables sorting of records when the column header is clicked.
Help Text (Tooltip) Text Area No Informational text that appears on hover.
Column Width in table view (%) Number Field No Sets the horizontal width (1–100%) of the column in the table view.

Stepper

The input requirements for this UI element's form in the 'Appearance' tab match those of the 'Decimal' UI element.
