Float

The following UI elements are available for the 'Float' field type:

  • Decimal
  • Stepper

The system displays the following conditional fields for both of these UI elements:

Input LabelTypeRequiredDescription
Mandatory Toggle No Allows you to specify whether a user must provide an input or if the field can be optional.

In addition, the contents of the 'Appearance' tab for each UI element under the 'Float' field type are detailed in the succeeding sections.

Decimal

The input requirements for the 'Decimal' UI element's form in the 'Appearance' tab are as follows:

Show in table view Toggle No Toggle to show or hide the UI element in table view.
Sortable in table view Toggle No Toggle to allow users to sort the UI element in table view.
Help Text (Tooltip) Text Area No Help text to assist users in utilizing the field correctly.
Column Width in table view (%) Number Field No Column width of the field in percent when in table view. You may use values between 1-100.

Stepper

The 'Stepper' UI element's form input requirements in its 'Appearance' tab are similar to the form input requirements for the 'Decimal' UI element.
